The Abel Flash Point Apparatus consists of one brass cup fitted with test flame arrangement. For determination of the flashpoint of petroleum products and mixture and Stirrer placed in a brass cup for uniform temperature.

As per IP 33, 170, IS 1448 (P-20)

For determination of the flashpoint of petroleum products and mixture having a flashpoint below 49°C (120°F.)

 However, It’s Suitable for Petroleum and Petroleum Products having Flash point below 70°C.

The Abel Flash Point Apparatus consists of one brass cup fit with test flame arrangement with Stirrer place on a water bath made a copper.

Optional Accessories :

• Oil Cup Thermometer : ( – 35°C to 70°C ) IP – 74°C.
• Water bath Thermometer : ( – 30°C to 80°C ) IP – 75°C.
